About The Journal
Widya Bhumi is an open access journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Pertanahan Nasional in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In 2021, the journal is published online twice a year in April-September and October-March with ISSN 2797-765X. Widya Bhumi welcomes original and well-written manuscripts relating to land management and land administration. Land Administration is part of the infrastructure that supports good land management. As the issue related land management and land administration could possibly about:
- Land right and land tenure
- Land-use regulation: land-use planning and enforcement and the adjudication of land use conflicts
- Land valuation and land taxation
- Land development
- Land administration arrangements
- Land information infrastructure
- The implementation of land use policies, environmental impact assessment and monitoring activities that affect good land use
- Community empowerment
Manuscripts can be in the form of research articles, case study articles, empirical studies articles.
Every article that goes to the editorial staff of Widya Bhumi will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by double Blind Review Process. The journal topics ranged on land management and land administration. Widya Bhumi expect articles that are able to encourages debate, controversy, findings and new understanding.
Journal History
Widya Bhumi has been published since August 7, 2002, with a print ISSN of 1412-7318 and is managed by the Sekolah Tinggi Pertanahan Nasional (STPN) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Widya Bhumi began by only facilitating STPN lecturers' research results through a journal management system that was not fully online. Widya Bhumi has changed since the April 2021 edition, including the use of an online system (full OJS) with an online ISSN: 2797-765X and the acceptance of public manuscripts. Widya Bhumi was also registered with CrossRef the same year, so that published articles would have DOI (Digital Object Identifier) numbers and published online twice a year, in April-September and October-March.
